A benefits cheat has appeared at Warrington crown court on charges of cheating benefits of £58,000. Over a period of five years the bingo player, from Widnes in Cheshire, was able to dupe benefits bosses with a series of claims that she was unable to walk without assistance and was house bound.  Amazingly, the cheat also tried to convince benefits bosses with a "from the heart" letter explaining how her disability had robbed her of her favourite pass time of visiting her local bingo hall.  She wrote that she "dreams" of going to bingo but had nobody to take her. Indeed, at the same time as penning her letter about her bingo woes the cheat was also working as a shop supervisor at her local Co-op.  

This lady has obviously never heard of online bingo! By playing online you don't need anyone to take you to a bingo hall, nor do you need to cheat benefits to pay for it.  If that doesn't convince her then she should look at it another way: you've got less chance of being caught on the fiddle if you stay at home and don't large it up at your local bingo.
