Bingo players like me love to win, sometimes it doesn’t even matter how much we win as it’s the winning that counts for us. The only thing we love more than winning is making sure that we have plenty of chances to win, which is why we think that Gala Bingo’s new jackpot is already popular with online bingo fans.
“Rollaball”,as the jackpot is called has a number of elements which appeal to players. For starters, the jackpot is very winnable (always a good thing). The number of calls required to win the jackpot goes up by one number each day. Having started at 32 calls the jackpot will rise by one number each day until its won. Based on what we know of jackpots players can expect the jackpot to be won quickly after the calls hit 44. Whilst the balls are rising each day the total amount of the jackpot will also be rising and it looks as though the total jackpot value goes up depending on the amount staked. Only certain games qualify as jackpot games and they are played at 11:55, 3:55pm, 5:55pm and 9:55pm. With tickets only costing 15p each the jackpot games also represent reasonable value for the bingo player too.
So far so good, the jackpot is pretty much like any normal online bingo jackpot with a rising number and a rising value, but wait for the good news. When “Rollaball” is won it is shared between all the players who were playing that game. If a player calls house in the correct amount of calls on a “rollaball” game then the jackpot will be won and that player will win 50% of the total jackpot. The other 50% of the jackpot will be shared amongst all the bingo players who were participating in the bingo game. Sounds good? For example, if the jackpot were at £5,800, as it is currently, and I were to call up and win the jackpot then I would get £2,900 and everyone else who had been playing that game would share the same amount. Based on average player numbers for the game of 400 you could expect to get over £7 as your share. Like I said at the beginning it’s not always the amount but the wnning that counts!
