Gala Bingo announces the luckiest bingo town: You might have thought that Harrogates main claim to fame was being posher than Hull but no you’d be wrong .  Infact, Harrogate now has the enviable accolade of being the UK’s luckiest bingo town.  A survey by Gala Bingo online has revealed that Harrogate has the highest average win per player of any town in the UK. Of course Yorkshire people are renowned for their thrifty approach to life but who’d have thought that this also meant they were the luckiest online bingo players too! 

Now if you don’t live in Harrogate then you are probably thinking “does this mean I can’t win at Gala Bingo?”.  Fear not for there are  plenty of other places in the UK to choose from which also occupy a spot Gala’s lucky towns top ten.  So before you put your house on the market to move to Harrogate and suck up some of that luck there are a few other town which are almost as lucky.  If you would like to be beside the seaside then perhaps a move to the number ten spot,  Portsmouth, is in order for you?  Or maybe you like trains, in which case Crewe at number 6, with its massive train station could be the town for you.  If you are Scottish then you should consider a move to either Motherwell or  sunny Inverness which occupy the number seventh and eighth spots.  Also revealed are the luckiest regions of the UK. People in the North East, as well as wearing incredibly short skirts on nights out on the town, are also the luckiest anywhere in the UK.  Wales and Northern Ireland are also good places for bingo players with their population enjoying much higher than average bingo luck. However, if you live in the South East or Greater London you may as well give up now, infact you may as well lock the door, dim the lights and put a paper bag over your head as you are officialy the most unlucky bingo players in the UK. 

Gala Bingo offers no reason as to why some places are luckies other than to suggest that it might be something to do with the different water in each town.  If it is that then the water in London is obviously incredibly unlucky and given I’m writing from London that’s washing and drinking off the menu for me until I can arrange a supply of water from the North East of England.
