Popular online bingo site Gala Bingo has conducted a survey which reveals a top ten of the worst UK Christmas gifts. Two thousand Brits were asked in which member of their family had bought them their worst Christmas gift they had received and what that gift was.
Top of the list for giving out rubbish presents were Aunties and Nans, no surprises there then! In fact women were pretty much the worst offenders and occupy the top 3 slots of shame. Even although it was women who carried the can for rubbish gifts the item which was the number one worst gift was “Fake Designer Perfume”. According to the survey it is women who give the worst presents, so who is it that’s giving one in four of us the “Fake Designer Perfume”?  In our opinion it looks like men are the real culprits here. We all know that a bloke would never dream of saving himself £25 quid by buying his wife some cheapo perfume!  Other gifts to make the top ten bad gifts were socks, car washing kits, diy vouchers and nose hair clippers. How disappointed would you be with a set of nose hair clippers? I know the last time I gave my Nan a set of nose hair clippers she was very disappointed. Which I couldn’t understand as it was the same brand as the shaver I had given her the year before.
