Recently there has be a real spate of bingo players being banned from bingo halls for their behaviour. 3 weeks ago 76 year old Rose Clemson got the boot from every Mecca Bingo in the UK and now we hear that a 96 year old bingo player has been banned from a Gala Bingo club in Glasgow.
In the latest incident a regular bingo player arrived at her local Gala Bingo club, only to find that here usual table and seat had been occupied by another group of players. A rumpus and fracas occurred upon which allegations of punches being thrown and threats being made now centre. It sounds like the lady in question, who don't forget is 96, wasn't going to accept anyone else sitting in her favourite bingo seat and decided to do something about it. People fighting over bingo seats in bingo clubs and disgruntled players organising trips to rival bingo halls is nothing new, but it really seems as though there has been an outbreak of these sorts of incidents recently. So here at FreeBingoHunter we thought it our duty to come up with some top tips for bingo players on how to avoid getting banned from their local bingo hall:
1. At least try and be polite to the bingo manager! They are sensitive souls and at the moment under more stress than ever with the double taxation by the government. However, remember that this rule doesn't apply if the bingo manager has cut the prize money on a guaranteed game at the last minute-then he deserves everything he gets.
2. Don't fight with other bingo players. If you are of an argumentative temprament, then with bingo in clubs the way it is now, you should have no problems finding a seat away from other people. Again the exception to this rule is that if another player has caused you to miss a full house claim through their noise making or chip scoffing then they deserve a good dressing down.
3. Never try and claim more than one free gift! Anyone who has participated in stamp card or free gift night in a bingo hall will know what I'm talking about. It really is very undignified for a bingo player to tell brazen lies to try and squeeze another tea seat or novelty electronic snowman from a hard pressed bingo manager.
If all that fails and you still get a ban from an overzealous bingo manager then I can also recommend other places for you to play bingo online. Just take a look around freebingohunter and you'll find lots and lots of online bingo sites that will let anyone be a member: even if you're rude you can still play bingo online (they'll just block your chat). It also looks as though everyone who has been banned by a bingo club thus far has found themselves on the recieving end of some generosity from online bingo sites. Currently very popular with online bingo players is the brand new bingo site Costa Bingo. It's free to play and they have prize games of £50 every hour--for free.
