![]() | I often watch Countdown in the afternoons and I find that I cope with the maths games better than the words-it's probably because I'm into bingo that I'm good with the numbers. That new woman on Countdown is nowhere near as good as Carol Vorderman, which reminds me that Carol was doing a web chat at Mirror Bingo recently--but, alas I missed it (I think I was at a Barry Manilow concert, or was it Showaddywaddy or was I getting my corns done?-can't remember. Anyway! My point is that I spend most of my time during the word parts of Countdown coming up with my own words which are not in the dictionary. However, I recently discovered that I am in distinguished company in the world of making up words that don't exist. Gala Bingo have done me proud by coining a whole new word "Windicate". Those boffins at Gala Bingo must have been banging their heads together for months to come up with a new word as good as "Windicate". So what does it mean? Well Windicate is a cross between Win and Syndicate--I guess the dictionary definition would probably be Windicate-meaning a winning syndicate.

If you get down to Gala Bingo you'll also find that they have made lots of changes and have given Bingo players a dizzy array of choices and options (maybe even too much--freebingohunter was spending more time changing the colours than playing the bingo!). if you've not played bingo with Gala then everything will be new to you--don't worry they'll sooth you with £20 of free bingo sign up money--Good luck.
